For The Love Of The Breed
Dear members,
I have started a “Recommended Breeders” page. I urge you to recommend honorable breeders so that I can add them to the page. Once you nominated the breeder please motivate your nomination.
Before a breeder will be added to the page he or she must be recommended by 5 or more people. From there I will contact the organizations and confirm that these breeders have no grievance against them. Should this breeder have any grievances against him or her, I will look into the seriousness of the matter and take it from there.
Once a member has nominated a breeder it is not for you to criticize his or her nomination.
Participation would be appreciated.
Thank you
Kind Regards
Karen

with mohsin is not about the money but the breed, there are a couple more breeders who deserves to be place here and alot of us who would like to be there but guys we have to stand back and let the older more clued up breeders take this they deserve this they paved the way for us. rene botha, beverli steenkamp, koos middle pos, cleo walse, yvonne du randt, lood minnie gawie pottas to name a few they are all honest humble and geniun poeple i commend you guys for seting the way for us and be so kind and humble as you are stay real and allow us younger breeders to achieve what you did and give credit where its due.lets stop today and breed together and to all stop the politics and stories. you all use to get along at some point. the world around us is out breeding us on our own dog breed and this is only because of pettyness ,i say SA staind up and reclaim youre breed youre right to be a south african its on you.........

My first boerboel came from Cammie in 2006 and she (Tippy) is a wonderful example of the breed. I visited Cammie and her dogs twice before bringing Tippy home and all the dogs were extremely healthy and happy. Cammie has always been there for me through thick and thin and always offered her support in anything. I've had a truly great experience with her and would Highly recommend!
I just bought my first BB from her and got her Friday night (posted in puppies about her). I nominate her as well!! She is so great and though I did not visit her, she has been so helpful during this whole process and it took a lot to be able to be part of her extended family; applications, phone interviews, etc. she does so much with those puppies to ensure you get exactly what you are looking for. She is so knowledgeable on this breed and from what I have seen and heard about her she takes amazing care of her babies. If/when I get another, she will be the one I go to.

What a completely transparent experience , from first interacting with Neiltons dogs and family to taking ownership of my pup more than 12 months later . I have dealt with dog people most of my life and Neilton in my books is a gent and Scholar.
Al Asaad Boerboels ( Mohsien )
Even though i have never purchased anything from Al Asaad , Mohsien is always available to give advice and trully has the betterment of the breed at heart.

I think for the most part we know who are friends with you but that said we also know that they bought dogs from them for a reason. Just because someone nominated a breeder does not mean that breeder will fall under this list. I am also going to look at the general health of the breeders dogs because anybody can be nice to a buyer and friends but at the end of the day the dogs speak for themselves.
Permalink Reply by Koen De Greef - Fouché on March 6, 2012 at 6:57pm Ha ha I see some pretty red backs already, anyhow I cant recommend there are far too many good ones. Could it be divided into countries then for South Africa into provinces and then towns, we dont want anyone left out.
I nominate Karlien Greef (Afrika Boerboels). She has steadily improved the quality of her breeding stock over the years and the results are starting to show. I've found her to be honest, friendly, professional and always willing to assist and give advise. I've got two dogs from her and have not regretted my decision to buy from her.
My other nomination may be seen as controversial in many circle but i recommend Lood Minie (Cabaret Boerboels). How many breeders have laid their foundation from Cabaret dogs and prospered from Lood's dogs? I own a Cabaret dog and his size, temparament and graceful movement are second to none.
Rene Botha(Mighty Boerboles). Enough has been said about her. HONEST and HUMBLE.
Hi Karen, I would like to nominate Ravenswood Boerboels in the the UK, Liz & Louis, look only to improve the breed, the temparment of Ravenswood Dogs are second to none. Being a novice to the breed they have been there every step of the way with me, Always at the end of the phone anytime of the day for help or advise. They like to keep in touch even 2 years on to see how their puppies are doing with new owners. They have been a great help for me and my family before and during owning a Ravenswood Dog
